From 1991 up to 1997, the company was in the business of contracting for civil works consisting mainly of residential and commercial buildings, and subdivisions. It was then operating under the name of PSF Construction & Development Corporation, wholly owned by Emeterio A. Eugenio, a Certified Public Accountant by profession.

In early 1998, the company evolved into the realty business in the development of residential subdivision projects and construction of housing components into a new company now currently known as Citihomes Realty, Inc. as the real estate company and its construction arm, the Goodhaven Construction and Development Corporation.

In the latter part of 2007, the company started to diversify from residential to commercial projects. The real estate business involves the acquisition, development, and conversion of raw land into a subdivision project, and the subsequent sale of the subdivided lots, with or without housing components. Construction of residential units is being undertaken by Goodhaven Construction and Development Corporation the in-house construction and technical group of the company.

Since 1998, the total amount of assets of the company has grown over 500 times, with over Php1.0 billion in total assets. This dramatic growth of the company may be attributed to the meticulous selection of project sites, customer-oriented policies, and a business model which may be regarded as unique as compared with the traditional developers, among which are:

1.Customized approach in house design specifications so that there are no two houses which are identical since houses are built in accordance with the particular home buyer�s needs and budget. The home buyer is assisted by an in-house Architect all the way from conceptualization of house designs, to budgeting, and house construction until the home buyer finally accepts the unit to his satisfaction.

2. In-house financing: Thru the credit facilities granted by various banks, the company has been able to extend in-house financing to its home buyers who are spared from the difficulties in the preparation and submission of various documents and credit checking usually being required by banks. The home buyer can also be more comfortable dealing directly with Citihomes with its flexible and customer-oriented financing terms.
